Northern Roads Summit

Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) Housing and Infrastructure Department is hosting a trailblazing event this year, the Northern Roads Summit. The Northern Roads Summit will bring together remote First Nations communities and government partners together to ensure sustainable roads for the future.
The theme for the event is Building Resiliency in a Changing Climate celebrating the strong spirit of First Nations and how we can harness our resilience to create sustainable, cost-effective, and community-focused roads. Together, we can address the challenges we are faced with in a changing climate.
We invite one leadership and one technical staff from each of the remote First Nations communities to attend as well as those that provide support to winter roads including Tribal Councils, fuel haulers, and government partners.
