Nishnawbe Aski Nation Culture Immersion is hosting another youth art contest! The land gives us many gifts to help educate us throughout our lives. Create an original 2-D artwork focusing on “Learning Concepts from the Land” and submit it for a chance to win some fantastic prizes!

PRIZES:

ALL ENTRIES WILL RECEIVE – Indigenous Colouring Kits created by renowned local artists Kevin Belmore and Angela Benedict valued at over $55.

TOP THREE ENTRIES WILL ALSO RECEIVE:

• 3RD PLACE – Paint Kit and Gift Card total gifts and prizes valued at over $120
• 2ND PLACE – Paint Kit and Gift Cards total gifts and prizes valued at over $170
• 1ST PLACE – Paint Kit and Gift Cards total gifts and prizes valued at over $270

CRITERIA:

• Must be a NAN Community Member
• Youth Aged: 10-24 years
• Focus on theme “Beginning of a New Journey”
• Must be an original 2-D creation

SUBMIT BY MAY 5, 2023

• Art size: 11 Inch Square
• Scan your artwork using a scanner or phone app (Eg: iScanner).
• Save & send in a PDF format, include artist name, age, phone, community, and address with the submission
• A release will be sent to each artist upon submission
